Classic theme. The whole score is great, especially The Welcoming.
It's a great film and the music complements it perfectly.

This and Hud are my favorite "westerns" I guess you would have to consider Hud a western. Mr. Peck and Burl Ives are magnificent!

I loved this movie. Too bad it doesn't get more recognition. I think it is one of the best westerns ever made. I think it is better than Shane, High Noon, The Searchers, or even The Magnificent Seven (which I also liked, btw.)
My Grandfather had a compilation cassette with this and other great old western orchestral music on it in his car all the time. I have been desperate to locate this cassette ever since (For nostalgia's sake and I like Western music), but due cassette's being pre-internet I am having trouble locating it.... Any help would be appreciated!!
