Great music of crazy times.

Reminds me off how my generation is spoiled and won't know until their soul is called about the draft or selective service act
Fantastic video!
Last year I was able to visit Washington DC with family. A group fo us met at the Viet Nam Wall where one of my cousins located her husband's name on that wall. Green Beret Army Captain Joseph Caudillo who died  in combat and left 6 young children. My cousin was pregnant at the time of his death. She fought back the tears all these years later. God Bless her and all the families of those tens of thousands brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in Nam. Actually seeing the names on the wall is  a very moving and emotional experience. The sixties was a very volatile and extreme decade. I remember it very well. Very polarizing and historical.
Love listening to the music. Why they didn't include Sky Pilot and Alison's restaurant I'm not quite sure though. I was in Nam in 67-68 so I can't bare to watch the video though.
shut up moaning  and listen to the music, epic playlist!!
God bless the Vietnamese for ass-kicking the French and Yanks.
The ONLY good thing about the vietnam war era was the music
Don't hate the Soldiers, hate the effing bankers that create these wars so they can profit from them.
Considering the fact most of these men were drafted at young ages and really didn't have a choice in the matter... Some of you should be ASHAMED of yourselves!  Perhaps none of you know what actually happened back then, but I do.  My father was a Vietnam Veteran and did what he had to in order to survive. As with the other men who served.  These men should be celebrated for their bravery.  I would love to see many of you in a country you do not know with rough terrain, and bullets flying trying to survive.  Idiots.
This music just don't sound right without a slow-motion montage of Snake Eye Mk 82 bombs vaporizing a tract of virgin rainforest..!
(sarcasm)
Vietnam?Bad shit and nuthin to show for it except body bags and bullshit.Yes ,I was there, and one thing I learned
.: Give the gray rich old politicians the guns and let them walk the walk, not just talk the talk
Get you a bunch of this. This is the music in the Time of Vietnam Conflict. Look up a New Years Party called the Tet of 68. It was a real BANG.
It really was unfortunate for soldiers in this war. Not only because thousands were dying, but because when they came home, they didn't get ticker-tape parades and warm welcomes. At least in Korea it was a draw, but here, they just flat-out lost.

And, the guys in this war were on average 18-22! They saw horrible things that I don't think they were anywhere near ready to see, if they ever would be ready! So most came home with PTSD and images they cant erase.

My great-cousin, Douglass Haan, was also in the war. And he along with many other brave, young men, was killed. At the far-too young age of 21 I might add.

But I am also very thankful, and very proud, that he and so many others fought this war.
If not for them, who knows where we would be today.
I wiuld go back
